Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
