Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
