Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
Almighty Allah's Truth.
