Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah of which he does not have any proof his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon). Sent down in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
