Al-Mu' minoon 6 of 6
Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
