Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
