Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
