Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
