Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
