Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah of which he does not have any proof his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
