Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
