Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
