Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
