Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
Almighty Allah's Truth.
