[Prophet], do you not see that all those who are in the heavens and on earth praise God, as do the birds with wings outstretched? Each knows his own mode of prayer and glorification: God has full knowledge of all that they do. 41 For God's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and the returning is to God. 42 See you not that Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them. And He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, (or there are in the heaven mountains of hail from where He sends down hail), and strike therewith whom He will, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its (clouds) lightning nearly blinds the sight. [Tafsir At-Tabari]. 43 God alternates the night and the day. In this there is a lesson for the people of understanding. 44 And Allah has created from water every living creature: so of them is that which walks upon its belly, and of them is that which walks upon two feet, and of them is that which walks upon four; Allah creates what He pleases; surely Allah has power over all things. 45 Certainly We have revealed clear communications, and Allah guides whom He pleases to the right way. 46 And they say, “We have accepted faith in Allah and His Noble Messenger, and we obey”; then after that a group among them turns away; and they are not Muslims. 47 And when they are called to Allah and His Messenger so that he judges between them, a party of them swerve away. 48 but if the truth happens to be to their liking, they are quite willing to accept it! 49 Is there in their hearts a disease, or are they in doubt, or do they fear that Allah and His Apostle will act wrongfully towards them? Nay! they themselves are the unjust. 50
