Al-Noor 9 of 9
The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and, when they are [meeting] with him for a matter of common interest, do not depart until they have asked his permission. Indeed, those who ask your permission, [O Muhammad] - those are the ones who believe in Allah and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission for something of their affairs, then give permission to whom you will among them and ask forgiveness for them of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. 62 Deem not the summons of the Messenger among yourselves like the summons of one of you to another: Allah doth know those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the Messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous penalty be inflicted on them. 63 Lo! verily Allah's is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth; surely He knoweth that which ye are about, and the Day whereon they shall be made to return unto Him, then He shall declare unto them that which they worked; and Allah is of everything the Knower. 64
True are the words of God the Almighty.
