۞ And those who do not hope for Our meeting, say: Why have not angels been sent down upon us, or (why) do we not see our Lord? Now certainly they are too proud of themselves and have revolted in great revolt. 21 [Yet] on that Day - the Day on which they shall see the angels there will be no glad tiding for those who were lost in sin; and they will exclaim, "By a forbidding ban [are we from God's grace debarred]!" 22 And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, so We shall render them as scattered floating dust. 23 (On the contrary) only those who have deserved the Garden, will have a good abode on that Day and a cool place for midday rest. 24 And on the day when the heaven shall burst asunder with the clouds, and the angels shall be sent down descending (in ranks). 25 The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels! 26 It will be a hard day for the unbelievers. It will be a day when the unjust will bite their fingers, (regretfully) saying, "Would that we had followed the path of the Messengers. 27 "Ah! woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend! 28 Certainly he led me astray from the reminder after it had come to me; and the Shaitan fails to aid man. 29 Then the Messenger will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense." 30 And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart by it and We have arranged it well in arranging. 32 And they bring thee no similitude but We bring thee the Truth (as against it), and better (than their similitude) as argument. 33 those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! 34
