۞ And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence. 21 There will be no good tidings for the guilty on the day they see the angels; and they will cry out, "Keep away, keep away!" 22 And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes. 23 The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. 24 And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent. 25 the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. 26 And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. 27 Alas, would that I had not taken So-and-so for a friend! 28 For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Satan has proved very treacherous to man. " 29 And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. 30 Thus, from the sinful people We made enemies for every Prophet. Your Lord is a Sufficient Guide and Helper. 31 The unbelievers have said, "Why was the whole Quran not revealed to him at once?" We have revealed it to you in gradual steps to strengthen your hearts and give you explanations. 32 And they shall not bring to you any argument, but We have brought to you (one) with truth and best in significance. 33 Those who shall be mustered to Gehenna upon their faces -- they shall be worse in place, and gone further astray from the way. 34
