۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us ask: 'Why have no angels been sent to us? Why can we not see our Lord' How proud they are within themselves, and have become greatly disdainful. 21 On the Day they will see the angels, no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) that day. And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden for you," [None will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: La ilaha ill-Allah, "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations]. 22 We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. 23 Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. 24 And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent. 25 The true kingship on that day belongs to the Most Gracious; and that is hard for the disbelievers. 26 Upon the day the evildoer shall bite his hands, saying, 'Would that I had taken a way along with the Messenger! 27 Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. 28 He verily led me astray from the Reminder after it had reached me. Satan was ever man's deserter in the hour of need. 29 And the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Quran (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and orders). 30 And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart by it and We have arranged it well in arranging. 32 Every time they raise an objection, We will bring you the truth and the best of explanations. 33 Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell – theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. 34
