۞ And those who fear not the meeting with Us say: wherefore are not angels sent down unto us or wherefore we see not our Lord! Assuredly they have proven stiff-necked in their souls and have exceeded the bounds with excess great. 21 On the Day they will see the angels, no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) that day. And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden for you," [None will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: La ilaha ill-Allah, "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations]. 22 Then We shall advance upon the work which they have done and render it as scattered dust. 23 The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. 24 On that Day, the heaven is split asunder with clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, 25 The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers. 26 The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Messenger! 27 Would that I had never chosen so and so for my companion! 28 He verily led me astray from the Reminder after it had reached me. Satan was ever man's deserter in the hour of need. 29 The Messenger will say, "Lord, my people did indeed discard the Quran," 30 And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: wherefore is the Qur'an not revealed unto him entire at once! Thus - We reveal - that We may establish thy heart therewith; and We have repeated it with a repetition. 32 Every time they raise an objection, We will bring you the truth and the best of explanations. 33 They who shall be gathered prone on their faces unto Hell - those shall be worst in respect of place and the most astray in respect of path. 34
