۞ Say those who look not to encounter Us, 'Why have the angels not been sent down on us, or why see we not our Lord?' Waxed proud they have within them, and become greatly disdainful. 21 There will be no good tidings for the guilty on the day they see the angels; and they will cry out, "Keep away, keep away!" 22 And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, so We shall render them as scattered floating dust. 23 The inhabitants of Paradise that day, better shall be their lodging, fairer their resting-place. 24 On that day the sky will be crystal blue, clear of clouds. The angels will descend in groups 25 That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the misbelievers. 26 Upon that Day the harmdoer shall bite his hands, and say: 'Would that I had taken a Path with the Messenger! 27 Woe to us! Would that we had not been friends with so and so. 28 “He indeed led me astray from the advice that had come to me”; and Satan deserts man, leaving him unaided. 29 And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing. 30 Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly. 32 And they will never bring you an example, but We shall bring you a true narration and better than it. 33 The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way. 34
