Hast thou not regarded thy Lord, how He has stretched out the shadow? Had He willed, He would have made it still. Then We appointed the sun, to be a guide to it; 45 Then We draw it back to Us, withdrawing it little by little. 46 And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) repose, and makes the day Nushur (i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, etc. after one's sleep at night or like resurrection after one's death). 47 And He it is who sends forth the winds as a glad tiding of His coming grace; and [thus, too,] We cause pure water to descend from the skies, 48 so, that with it We revive dead lands and provide drink for the cattle and the human We created. 49 And We distribute it among them in various ways that they may ponder and reflect; yet most men disdain everything but denial and thanklessness. 50 And if We had willed, We would have raised up in each town a warner. 51 Se obey not thou the infidels, but strive against them therewith with a great striving. 52 ۞ And He it is Who has made two seas to flow freely, the one sweet that subdues thirst by its sweetness, and the other salt that burns by its saltness; and between the two He has made a barrier and inviolable obstruction. 53 And it is He who hath created man from water, and then made for him kinship by blood and marriage. And thy Lord is ever potent. 54 Yet they worship instead of Allah that which can neither benefit them nor hurt them. The disbeliever was ever a partisan against his Lord. 55 And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) only as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. 56 Say: 'I demand of you no wage for this except for he who wishes to take the Path to his Lord' 57 And trust the Living One Who will never die, and praising Him proclaim His Purity; and He is Sufficient upon the sins of His bondmen, All Aware. 58 It is He who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days and then He established His domination over the Throne. He is the Beneficent God. Refer to Him as the final authority. 59 And when it is said unto them: Prostrate to the Beneficent! they say: And what is the Beneficent? Are we to prostrate to whatever thou (Muhammad) biddest us? And it increaseth aversion in them. ۩ 60
