O dear Prophet, did you not see your Lord, how He spread the shade? And if He willed, He could have made it still; then We made the sun a proof upon it. 45 Then We take it to Ourselves, taking little by little. 46 And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) repose, and makes the day Nushur (i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, etc. after one's sleep at night or like resurrection after one's death). 47 And it is He who has loosed the winds, bearing good tidings before His mercy; and We sent down from heaven pure water 48 so, that with it We revive dead lands and provide drink for the cattle and the human We created. 49 We have indeed turned it about them, so that they remember; yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 50 Had We willed, We would have raised up a separate Warner in each habitation. 51 So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them herewith with a great endeavour. 52 ۞ It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed. 53 It is He who created man from water, then gave him consanguinity and affinity. Your Lord is omnipotent. 54 Yet they worship instead of Allah that which can neither benefit them nor hurt them. The disbeliever was ever a partisan against his Lord. 55 But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition. 56 Tell them, "I do not ask of you any recompense for this work: I only ask of the one, who will, to adopt the way of his Lord. 57 Put your trust in the One who is the Ever-Living [God], who never dies, and glorify Him with His praise. He is fully aware of the sins of His servants; 58 He created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them in six spans then assumed His authority. He is the benevolent: Ask those who are well-informed. 59 When it is said to them: 'Prostrate yourselves before the Merciful', they ask: 'And what is the Merciful? Shall we prostrate ourselves to whatever you bid us' And it increases their aversion. ۩ 60
