Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 it is He who has made night and day succeed each other, a sign for those who would take heed and would be grateful. 62 The (true) servants of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth who, when the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, say, "Peace to you" 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 [Such as] these will be rewarded for all their patient endurance [in life] with a high station [in paradise,] and will be met therein with a greeting of welcome and peace, 75 Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
