Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing. 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate 67 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. 68 and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, 69 except the one who may have repented (after those sins) and have believed and done righteous works, for then Allah will change his evil deeds into good deeds, and He is very Forgiving and Merciful. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 (Muhammad), say (to the disbeliever) "It does not matter to my Lord whether you worship Him or not. You have rejected His guidance and your punishment is inevitable." 77
