Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell. 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 and whosoever repents, and does righteousness, he truly turns to God in repentance. 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
