Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; 73 They pray, "Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones." 74 Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace, 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
