Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 who call not upon another god with God, nor slay the soul God has forbidden except by right, neither fornicate, for whosoever does that shall meet the price 68 The doom will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein disdained for ever; 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning. 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
