HALLOWED is He who has set up in the skies great constellations, and has placed among them a [radiant] lamp and a light-giving moon. 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 And the bondmen of the Most Gracious who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them they answer, “Peace”. (Good –bye) 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 Indeed it is a most wretched abode. 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 These shall be rewarded with high places because they were patient, and shall be met therein with greetings and salutations. 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
