Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 and those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, pass by with honor 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing.' 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say thou: my Lord careth not for you were it not for your prayer; whereas ye have even belied, so presently this denial shall come as the cleaving punishment. 77
