Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 And those who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing. 64 Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,- 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
