Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing, 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence." 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 of sin-doubled shall be the chastisement for him on the Resurrection Day, and he shall dwell therein humbled, 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - 71 And [know that true servants of God are only] those who never bear witness to what is false, and [who,] whenever they pass by [people engaged in] frivolity, pass on with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the revelations of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say: 'My Lord esteems you not at all were it not for your prayer, for you have cried lies, and it shall surely be fastened.' 77
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
