Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 and who pray: "O our Sustainer, avert from us the suffering of hell - for, verily, the suffering caused by it is bound to be a torment dire: 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - 71 and those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, pass by with honor 72 Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind; 73 And those who say: our Lord bestow on us coolness of eyes from our wives and our offspring, and make us unto the God-fearing a pattern. 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
