The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
