The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
