The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
