The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
