The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
