The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
