The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
