The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
