The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
