The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
