The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
