The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
