The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
