The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
