The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
