The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
