The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
